California Contractor Takes Care of Failing CMP Storm Drain in Lush Community
The Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve and Ecological Reserve represent approximately 1,000 acres of open space. The Nature Preserve is made up of the bluffs surrounding the Bay. Sensitive bird and plant species use the bay and bluffs. This coastal wetland is one of the largest in Southern California and is renowned as one of the finest bird watching sites in North America.
Emagineered Solutions Focuses on Making CIPP Projects More Efficient
The definition of innovator is a person or group who introduces something new or does something for the first time. The trenchless industry is full of individuals and companies who fit that definition.
One of those innovators is Steve Waring, P.E., who has been involved in the underground construction space in one form or another since 1972 – long before trenchless was a commonly-used term.
2022 The Shooter Update
Wow, it's been way too long since I've updated this blog. No excuse, why even have one, right? Well because there's been a lot going on over the last couple years and we're happy to tell about it! The addition of the 15" Conversion for The Shooter 12 has been very well received giving a range of down to 4" and up to 15" all in one mobile machine perfect for tight easements and back yards. The Shooter 24 with the improved trailer and remote station has been selling faster than we can make them. In fact 2021 was our biggest year ever, far surpassing even our highest sales goal for the year! We've also been selling more steam packages than ever before as contractors are desiring almost turn key operations with The Shooter, portable dry steam generators like The Blaze (Alkota 246 with 630,000 Btu's each) and the Easy-Kleen Wolverine 50 at 4 million Btu's each,1" and 2" steam hose kits with hammer-on Boss fittings, along with A and B Stations, stab and condensate tubes. And we've been doing more on-site training for teams new to Shooters or CIPP in general.
In addition to the equipment successes, the trade shows the last two years have been very good for us, despite the lower numbers due to Covid restrictions and fears. Last year's No Dig and UCT shows were both very good for The Shooter with almost constant traffic in the booth, noticed by many others around who commented, "you guys are having a good show!" The same was true this year at UCT in Texas (where we received the Show Stopper Award!) and the WWETT show in Indianapolis where Shooters were being sold right off the show floor. And we were featured on the cover of Trenchless Technology Magazine! The momentum keeps building! We're definitely looking forward to No Dig in a few weeks in Minneapolis! If you're there, come on by booth #335. We'd love to meet you!
We're excited to be heading to the Gaylord Resort in Washington, DC for the big NASTT No Dig Show in a couple weeks. Will you be there too? With the combination NASTT and ISTT this year's No Dig will have an international flair and is the biggest trenchless event of 2017. If you haven't yet seen THE SHOOTER in person or if you'd just like to stop by to say hi, we'll be in booth #242. We'd love to see you!
Thanks for coming by THE SHOOTER booth in Indy this past week. It's people like you that make the trade shows so enjoyable. We appreciate all the positive feedback from both longtime Shooter users and the growing number of new fans who've made the switch to the best continuous air-inverter available. Though THE SHOOTER was the first continuous air machine for cipp and is responsible for many miles of relined pipe, a commitment to innovation and improvement led us to the redesign two years ago that made a great inverter even better. From the ruggedly mobile hand truck with built-in lubrication system complete with overspray guard for dry operators, to the knife gate for more efficient inversion, flat-free tires, perforated bin for wrenches and other tools, high quality nozzles, gauges, regulators, stainless tubing, durable design and fabrication and powder coating, we spared no feature that any of us would want on the best inversion machine around. Thanks again for all the comments and growing interest. And if you haven't yet seen the new Shooter, come by the No Dig booth in April (Booth #242). We'd love to meet you!
Are you going to Indianapolis for the WWETT Show 2017? We hope to see you there at Booth #6404! Come see THE SHOOTER, the original continuous air-inversion machine for cipp with over two decades of trenchless rehabilitation, and a loyal following of contractors like the guys from Onsite Central, Ltd shown here getting the job done! Check out THE SHOOTER for yourself. See why it's a favorite for reliable cured-in-place pipe work both here and abroad. Want to know more? Visit us at Booth #6404 or give us a call, (541) 504-0416. See you in Indy!
As 2016 winds down and all the busyness of relining work slows somewhat while the holiday shopping and seasonal gatherings ramp up, we want to take this moment to say thank you, from all of us at Emagineered Solutions. We very much appreciate your continued business and friendship, and wish you all the very best. May this holiday season be full of joy and quality time with family and friends, and may the next year be even better than this one!
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy New Year!
We received a call two weeks ago from a contractor looking at moving up from small laterals to larger mainlines and was in need of some equipment. He said THE SHOOTER® had come very highly recommended and after some conversation with us it turned out he already had a job bid with a very short window for completion. We were able to help him get a 24" SHOOTER with all the necessary ancillary equipment, as well as provide a day of training at our facility before his rehab work two days later. After picking up three guys at the airport, we gave them a quick tour of our facility and commenced to introductions and walkthroughs of both THE SHOOTER® 12" (for 6-12" pipe) and THE SHOOTER® 24" (for 15-24" pipe). We discussed the necessary equipment and safety, proper LIPs seal adjustment, setting up a shot, lubricating and inverting a liner, the cure, and what happens afterward. Then came the practice shot with a dry liner in the yard using a 12" SHOOTER and some 8" x 6mm, which moved easily under low pressure in a slow, controlled inversion across the lot. It was a hands on session for them. After any remaining questions were answered, they were back on a plane and anxious to prep and shoot the run. We were very happy to hear a report after the holiday weekend that their install went perfectly. In fact, he said the easiest part of the entire operation was inverting the 15" liner with THE SHOOTER®. His experience previously has only been with small inversion drums, and the ability to have longer runs in larger pipe with the original continuous air-inversion machine was just what he said he's been looking for, especially with a machine that isn't difficult to understand or operate, and really does well what it's designed to do. Glad everything came together for him on such a tight schedule!
